T'ai Chi Sword Walnut Finish Ref: SH2009A-S
The Practical Tai-Chi swords from Hanwei have been developed in response to many requests for a quality Tai-Chi sword for everyday practice. The SH2009 series, finished in polished walnut, features three blade lengths to suit the individual requirements of the Tai-Chi practitioner. All models feature steel guards and pommels, plated to harmonize the color scheme of the sword. Weighing only 1.2 lbs., with rapid taper fullered blades in high-carbon steel, this very quick sword balances at 4" from the grip end of the guard. The blade is more flexible than the SH2008 series, but still sufficiently stiff to maintain complete control. The SH2009A has a blade length of 28" (see Models SH2009B and SH2009C for other blade lengths). A tassel (Item OH2078) is available separately.
